After releasing his album God Does Like Ugly on Friday, J.I.D made an appearance on the Joe Budden Podcast. During the episode, he spoke on a joint album he recorded with J. Cole.

“Me and Cole got a body, a 15-track smoker. Me and him, back and forth. We worked on this shit in New York, I ain’t never told nobody this, sorry Cole. Also, The FallOff gon’ be really good,” the Dreamville rapper stated.

He also addressed J.Cole’s decision to back out of the rap beef with himself, Kendrick Lamar, and Drake.

“I’m mad at him for apologizing, whatever that is on brand, you ain’t wanna do that. But the song (7 Minute Drill) was more shocking to me, because I’m like y’all boys.”
